How was Ron Kovic brainwashed?
If thats the man who the film “Born on the 4th of July” was about; he wasn’t brainwashed; just an angry disabled combat veteran. The way Vietnam vets were treated by their own countrymen was bad (were talking fist fights here!). To lose your leg or arm, etc. and then be treated that way was even worse. Probably the only men in US history treated as bad as Vietnam veterans were the Confederates who lost the US Civil War in 1865; many of those men were bitter too.
