Lloyds Banking Group was formed on the 19th of January 2009 following the acquisition of HBOS plc by Lloyds TSB Group plc. Lloyds Banking Group is the largest retail bank in the UK. Our main UK business activities are retail, commercial and corporate banking, general insurance, and life, pensions and investments. The Group has a large and diversified customer base and services are offered through a number of well recognised brands.
