How was Leon Trotsky killed?
According to the first source link I posted below “Trotsky’s brain was pierced by a pickax wielded by Frank Jackson, who for months posed as a ‘great admirer’ of Trotsky. ” According to the second source link I posted below “On August 20, 1940, a young man named Ramon Mercader gained entry to the study of Trotsky’s heavily guarded house under the false pretense that he wanted Trotsky to read an article he had written. While Trotsky examined the article, Mercader removed an alpine climbing ax from his overcoat and plunged it into the great thinker’s head.” So although they have different names for the killer, the method is the same.
