How was a timeline developed?
A format is decided which includes discussion of issues that need to be addressed. The basic format calls for a time period for development of data packets, session topics, and for facilitator training. For soliciting our volunteers, the district places a notice in the Whitefish Pilot for volunteers to serve on a committee. We have several “word of mouth” patrons talking to others who step forward and volunteer for a study circle spot. Each study circle follows a meeting timeline to discuss issues and come up with their recommendations. Total time for the project is approximately three – four months.
