How very odd: Communism + Russian Zone in DE = naturism; why the tremendous popularity then, and still today?
The Germans are very open about their bodies, even if they are not ‘beautiful’ by the superficial standards of magazine world … and let’s face it, any nation where people dive into semi frozen rivers and swim about (like the Rissians, lol), must take pride in physical fitness! And both Germans and Russians have a traditions of summering by the water, lots of swimming, etc … I can see the mix working to increase body awareness and naturism.
