How valuable are continuing education certificates from universities?
Many universities offer professional development certificates in all kinds of areas such as management, six sigma, project management, business analysis, web development, IT professional, marketing, etc… (just to name a few). I’m looking to talk to some people who have completed a certificate program after undergrad/grad and find out if the certificate helped them at all with getting a higher salary, new position in their company, or job offer with a new company. I realize everyone has an opinion, but I’d like mostly to hear from people who actually have acquired a certificate. Thanks!
