How tough is the RRS 3 link system?
All links are designed to be very durable even with highly modified big blocks and blown small blocks, providing a maximum traction control for any road vehicle both under acceleration and braking. Cornering forces are primarily transferred through the RRS watts linkage. This system can withstand 1.8g cornering force generated by 3,500 lb race car in an endurance race with no discernable wear characteristics or increased deflection most road cars cannot generate more than 1g even in the most extreme circumstances, therefore durability and reliability are guaranteed by RRS. Chassis torsional and beaming loads are decreased by the RRS 3 link system, primarily by more efficient torque transfer via the RRS torque arm to the front chassis mounting brace. Torsional rear chassis loads are decreased by the RRS rear chassis mount which stiffens the OE ford uni body design.
