To write a column, first you will need a subject. Most columnists write either from their own experiences or they write public interest columns. After you pick the subject that you want to write on, you will do to perform research. Make sure you learn everything you need to know and take notes to use while writing. After you’ve done your research, turn the computer on, start your word processor and start writing. Make sure you include all the pertinent information that you want to convey to your readers. Writing is only as hard as you make it but remember that writing is not for everyone.
