How to write a good graduation speech?
The article referred to already looks rather excellent. Just to give some extra help if I can, think about getting your audience on side quickly to help you relax into the speech. Start with congratulations for you fellow graduates and get to thanking those who really have helped too. Make sure you have a theme, which for example might be the lessons you have learned that you will take on to the next steps in your life. That could be from things that have gone well and things that did not go so well. Hopefully you have some funny stories on the lessons learned. For the future what are your plans, hopes and dreams and how will you use the lessons learned. Of course you can take any topic through from the past and on into the future. Things like benefits of goal setting, perseverance, taking on new challenges, working in teams, being positive, can be decent topics. The best of luck to you, I admire anyone who takes on public speaking.
