How to work out contour lines from RLs (reduced level) on a site plan?

Contour lines are lines that connect points of the same level. So if you have a site plan with spot levels all you need is to join points of the same level together to create a contour line. If you do not have enough points the contour will be quite jagged. One way to get round that is to interpolate between points using some kind of method….linear, quadratic etc. You have to of course do this in the X and Y directions.
