How to WHITE perch fish?
In my part if the country a white perch and a crappie are one and the same.And the best bait is either a live shiner or a small jig. And the depth that you will locate them will depend on the time of year. In the spring you can locate them in 10 inches of water, almost on the bank. Later they can be found in tree tops, around snags and out in the middle of the lake. People catch them by tight lining a shiner or jig, and also catch them by slip corking when they are around the snags. I hope we are talking about the same fish. Good luck!
