How to wean a child off breast feeding?
Reduce one feeding per week and substitute with a bottle of formula. That’s what i am doing. My son is 9 months now. I’m down to 2 feedings of breast milk. This way i didn’t have any pain and my son is also doing fine. I guess if i stopped breastfeeding now, he would not even realize but i’m thinking of continuing to feed him at least 2 times till he is one year old since breast milk has a lot of nutrients that a formula does not.
