How to Wash Linen shirt?
Be careful, some linen shrinks, if the label says it’s ok to wash then go right ahead. If you have a lot of ease in the garment you can take the chance. This is a good way to wash, I put mine in the machine, with Forever New (special citrus based detergent excellent for fine washables especially silks), line dry it, or roll it in a towel to get the excess moisture out, but iron it before it is completely dry, otherwise you won’t get all of the wrinkles out. Linen if allowed to air dry completely becomes almost stiff. I have an old Ralph Lauren men’s shirt that I dry in the dryer. It is totally crumpled and very soft. I only wear it around the house.
