How to Use Yahoo Search Pas?
Search Pad can be found on the upper right-hand side of the Yahoo! Search results page, underneath the Yahoo! logo. To use Search Pad: • Search as you normally do. • Search Pad will automatically record the sites you click on. • Search Pad will intelligently detect when you’re researching on a particular topic and ask you if you want to take notes with a prompt (see below). By default Yahoo search pad is on, but you can also turn it off. Turn Off Temporarily – Use the Turn Off option from the drop down menu in the Search Pad application. This turns Search Pad off for your current session only. You can turn it back on by clicking on the Search Pad bar. Permanently Disable – To set Search Pad as always off for all your search sessions: • Click the Options link within any search results page. • Click Preferences from the dropdown menu. • Look for the Search Pad section and click Edit. • Click Disabled and then Save.
