How to use weed and feed 30-5-5?
Mow the lawn first, then deep water because you won’t be able to water for 24 hours. Then put it on with your spreader at a high setting. Leave it on for 24-48 hours before you water again. You water so the weed killer will stick to the leaves of the weeds (broad leafed weeds). Your lawn will green up fast and cover the areas where weeds die fast. If you use a drop spreader, again use a higher setting. If the bag does not tell you, for a hand spreader go as high as it goes. Also, while I am on the Subject, Scotts makes the best there is on the market of weed and feed right now. The fine powder sticks very well to kill leaves.
