How to use veb cam as a security Camera?
Hi there, There are a few different ways to do this. If your using a logitech camera they have software that comes with it that you can use to operate it as a web camera. Another option is to use MSN Messenger. You have to download the msn messenger plus and install it. Then what you do is have an account signed in on your pc with the web camera with the settings to automatically accept video calls. Then on the pc that you want to view from you will install msn messenger plus as well and sign in with a different account. Make sure that the accounts are added to each messenger. Then you can just click on the account name you want to “talk” to and it will automatically accept your call and you will be able to view the web cam. There is another way with software called YAWCAM. You can download and install it for free. It will let you set up recording, etc for your camera. Hope that helps!!
