How to use the different text entry modes in a MOTOROLA L6?
There are different options of entering text in a MOTOROLA L6 to send a sms. 1. The # button is used to toggle between the different text entry modes in the phone 2. The ‘abc’ indicates alphabet input mode, ‘123’ indicates number input mode and ‘@’ indicates symbol input mode. 3. or ‘1’ sets the primary text entry mode to ITAP 4. or ‘2’ secondary text entry mode to ITAP 5. The above options can be selected by pressing the main menu soft key while in the text entry screen of a sms and choosing ENTRY SETUP 6. The ITAP mode is intelligent predictive software which helps you type common word quickly by pressing just one key per alphabet and the phone suggesting complete words as per the dictionary. For e.g. to type the word “change”, just press the keys 2-4-2-6-4-3 once in that order and the phone will show “change” as the completed word on screen 7. Also, while in the text entry mode, pressing ‘0’ will help you toggle between uppercase (ABC), lowercase (abc) and sentence case (Abc) option
