How to use homegrown lemon balm?

0

I have been growing Lemon Balm for over 20 years now. I use fresh leaves cut up in salads to give it a lemony flavor. I also use fresh leaves in my coffee maker when making tea. it also gives it a lemony taste. and also is very relaxing as it is described in herb books as a mild valium effects. The plant has been traced back to ancient Egypt and is described as basically organic Valium. When my plants get to around 8 to 10 inches tall i cut them back to around 5 inches they will come back with more limbs than before. I also take what I cut off and dry it and then crush the dried leaves and store them in Ziploc bags for use during the winter in tea’s My brother did not like the taste of the leaves so he crushed the dried leaves and put them in empty pill casings that can be bought at most pharmacies. It would still give him the relaxing effects. I have never thought of using the leaves in baths. but i guess that u could cut the fresh leaves up and put them in little bags or old fashione
