How to use Hardware Security button to set a private powerline network?
For each XAV101v2 devices, press and hold its Security button between 2 to 4 seconds until the LED starts to blink. This generates a new, randomly generated network encryption key for each XAV101v2 devices. At this point, the devices cannot communicate with each other. Push the Security button on one adapter for 2 – 4 seconds, and then push the button on the second adapter for 2 seconds. Both buttons must be pushed within 2 minutes. This securely configures your Powerline network with the same network encryption key. The devices will retain security settings even if they are unplugged.
