TeamCity sends notifications about successful and failed builds. The notification is sent as soon as the first problem occurs (even before the build process is completed). Now there are e-mail, Jabber, Windows tray, and IntelliJ IDEA plugin notifiers. To configure your notification service, use TeamCity interface. Open the My Settings tab, and in the Notifications area, specify e-mail or Jabber account. In the right-upper corner of the My Settings page you can also see IntelliJ IDEA plugin and Windows tray notifier. Note: TeamCity open API allows adding custom notifiers. By default, if the failing (or failed) build contains your changes, you are notified about that (using notifiers specified in your settings). But you can customize notifcation service by creating your own notification rules. For example, you can: • get notifications even if the build does not contain your changes • get notifications on more events (e.g. build started or build status changed) • define the list of notifi
