How to use a Canon PowerShot A590 IS ?

Hi — I have a Canon S1 IS. It has similar settings as your Powershot. You know, with B/W pics, I would just take everything in color with the camera. Then later in Photoshop Elements or whatever your photo editor is, you can easily change the photo to ‘greyscale’, which is black and white. You can even make it sepia-color, like the old tin types. For night shots, there should be a night mode on the camera — the icon looks like a moon and/or stars. Try that. Actually, I wrote a quick “how to” on using the different ‘modes’ on a camera. You could take a look there and see if any of it helps. http://www.ehow.com/how_4623232_use-digital-camera-modes.html Thanks!
