How to update a new image map without having toalter/re-publish all pages?

Hi everyone, I use a large jpg as the main menu on my site www.flaccidsacks.co.uk. I would like to add a couple of new links on it in the form of image maps. Is it possible to somehow add and upload the changes to the jpg only once instead of having to open up every page on the site and add the new image maps and links and re-publish, which is a toal hassle and seems really inefficient. I tried to just open up the pic in Dreamweaver but it won’t let me.
