It’s the same as any other quasi-perpetual-motion scheme: motor pushes car, car suspension system pushes generators, generators charge battery. There’s energy lost at each step, and so the system is unsustainable: it won’t even start. Not much energy is lost in suspension systems at present anyway: your shock absorbers don’t get particularly hot, and that’s the best way to judge the amount of energy you’re likely to get from that source. In general, recovery of waste heat of any sort–from brakes, exhaust, or suspension–is very difficult to do. We can do it successfully in very large industrial plants, but everywhere else it’s just not worth the cost of equipment and maintenance.
