How to trace glass painting patterns? What are the things needed for tracing patterns?
The first and foremost thing you need to make a glass painting is a perfect pattern or design. So, at first take a picture you like and then lay it over a flat surface table. Place the tracing paper over the said picture and pin all the four edges using straight pin. Start tracing the picture using a marker pen. Always remember to use fine tip marker pen for tracing. This will help you to get thick outlines on your glass painting pattern and also when you trace the pattern for the second time on glass surface it will become easier for you apply glass liner as the lines are thick. On the whole you need three things for tracing glass painting pattern ie tracing paper, fine tip marker pen and straight pin.
