How to tighten the screws in a 1990 GMC K1500 Sierra Steering Column?

I have a 1990 GMC K1500 Sierra and I need directions how to tighten the 4 screws in the steering column. A: You have to partially dismantle the upper column. The wheel, turn signal plate, switches and steering lock have to come off, then the upper housing is removed using a slide hammer to get the pins out, then you can see the screws that are loose. I remove them one at a time and put Loctite on them before I put them back in. This is really a difficult job for a novice. See if you can find a diagram of the tilt column in a Chilton’s at your library.
