How to thread a sewing machine bobbin?

I’m getting my masters in costume tech – tell me what kind of machine you have & I can tell you how to thread it. Generally, you will put the bobbin in the casing so that the bobbin spins clockwise, then pull the thread up through the slit in the bobbin casing side and under the plate on the outside of the bobbin casing so that it is pulled out through the hole inside the hook. this is for most front-loading domestic machines (berninas, pfaffs, husquevarnas, vikings, most singers). If you have a drop-loading machine it’s a little different (most Kenmores) – you will drop the bobbin in the casing and pull the thread out so that the bobbin spins counter-clockwise, then pull the thread around a plate that should be on the very side of the casing – around, not just through. It should come out the plate, then have a spot where it can go back through again. It’s very important to note that if you’ve wound your bobbin without tension your sewing will never come out with the correct tension –
