How to thaw a frozen pork tenderloin?

To do it safely is overnight in your refridgerator. Anything else you’ll be on your own. FDA recommends thawing under a cold environment. Another method is to thaw it in a plastic bag under running cold water. This should speed up your thawing process in time for dinner…safely!

Put it in a bowl big enough so it’s covered with water. Put it in the sink and keep the cold water slowly running on it in the bowl. This keeps the water from getting colder from the frozen meat and thaws a lot faster than leaving it sit. I do this all the time and it works well. Three pound should thaw in about an hour.

Fill your sink up with cold water and let it sit in there for a few hours, letting cold water run into the sink as well. It should thaw. We always did that when we wanted to defrost something and not wanting to put in it in the microwave.
