How to tell the difference between Discharge and Mucus plug?

0

the mucus plug is more like one or two big globs of goo that has the consistency of an un-cooked egg white (stringy)or even thicker. It is usually a yellowy-white colour with pink tinges through it (from the blood when it comes away from the cervix) Normal discharge is noticeably different because it doesn’t have the stringy-ness or isn’t big globs like the mucus plug. It can still be quite thick but is usually easily wiped away. The mucus plug will be stringy and hard to wipe away. I hope that gives you some insight!
