How to tell if my rabbit is pregnant?
she may be but usually build one nest ,it may be a phantom pregnancy, but it can literally take 1 second, our rabbit has just had a litter, if she has become moody and aggressive, and put on weight during the last few days [they are pregnant for 31 days ] you can feel the kits if gently pressing her tummy and her teats are swollen these are the signs, she will begin to pull her fur to make a nest and will give birth quietly, rabbits don’t sit on the nest but feed babies when no one is around and this sustains the kits for 24 hours, this is because they are not trying to attract predators to the nest. alot of rabbits can have phantom pregnancies if this is the case get her spayed as this can double their lifespan.
