How to tell a friend she STINKS LIKE A HOBO?
If she is your friend and she has an offensive odour about her, I think you would be doing great justice to have a gentle talk to her about new products out there that smell great and fend off body odour. Let her know what you use and that personal hygiene is so important. Maybe you could let her know, you would be willing to go and shop for the best hygiene products to help her, just remember to be kind and patient when having this talk with her. Some people have suggested perfume, that is not going to help with someone who stinks badly. She needs to shower or bathe and use some kind of deodorant, than you could use cologne or perfume after. Good luck and remember you will be doing something nice for her and she will see that in the long run.
Some people have the problem of having body odor and there is nothing they can do about it. If that’s her problem, then don’t say anything to her about this. Some people have an odor because they eat lots of spices – Indian people sometimes have this odor. Again, in this case, don’t say anything. But if your friend has an odor because she lacks good hygiene then it would be appropriate to say something about this but only if your true intentions are to help her. You have to be careful about this.
