How to teach english to a korean who knows very little about the language?
Use visuals whenever possible. Start with common items that the person will be using in his/her daily life. Ask the person the word in Korean and then give the person the English word. Make a scrapbook of the pictures and words. Teach common greetings and role play as much as possible. Good sources of pictures are the ads from the newspaper (great for food and clothing), clip art from various computer sites and photos from a digital camera (great for places in the community).
