How to teach a canary to sing?
Only male canaries sing. A very very few female will sing weakly, but their song is not great. You can help your bird by playing flute music or recorded canary song. The American Singer Canary club has these recording that you can buy. Canary song is at its best right before and during breeding season. A young bird will take a while to develop his song, so be patient. Good luck!
