How to take the plastic coating off a bath tub?
My first attempt would be to take something like a toothbrush and some baking soda along the edge to dislodge the plastic.
You may want to try holding a flame near the plastic so it melts and curls into something hard enough to grip with the tweezers, but be careful not to damage the surround.
You could also take a very sharp razor knife and gently cut the plastic.
