If there are three or more in your party (or if you have heavy luggage or anyone in your party cannot climb stairs) it may be worth considering a car service, as the cost may not be much more than three Tube and rail fares and you won’t have to carry everything yourself. You can take the Underground from Heathrow to Victoria station, and from there take the train to Dover Priory station. The trip on the Tube will take about 45 minutes from LHR, and trains from Victoria take about an hour and a half.
