How to take Homoeopathic Medicines?
The medicine is usually taken away from food or drink, or as directed by your practitioner. Tablets or pills should be dissolved under the tongue in a clean mouth. Therefore, smoking, eating or drinking (except plain water, if need be) for at least 15 minutes before or after taking the medicine should be avoided. Smokers should prefer to have a mouth wash with plain water before taking medicine. If your medicine is in the shape of drops, it should not be taken soon after the meals. Take it in 1/2 cup of plain water either 15 minutes before meals or an hour after, unless your homoeopath has advised differently.
