How to take care of a 6 week old kitten?

At 6 weeks old they are only starting to eat solid foods. And 6 weeks is TOO YOUNG to be away from mom and siblings – they are still nursing. I would not bother with dry food right now. You need some high quality kitten canned food and add some warm water to make it a little soupy. After 8-10 weeks old you can gradually add in high quality dry food in a dish to nibble on. Cats do better with canned and dry food rather then all dry.
