I think you should start by outlining (briefly) the situation of the stolen children. Where did they come from and how they ended up in a position where they weer removed from their families.Then go out to say that as most never saw/heard from their families again, it was as if they’d dies…therefore it was as if all these people had in fact been killed as they were forcibly taken from their families and mostly, their country. they effectively disappeared – which had the same effect on the communities left behind as if they’d died…hope this is of some help…
