How to stop water leakage from toilet flush?

I want to know how to stop the water leakage from toilet flush. Water is dripping into toilet as soon as the flush tank gets filled to a minimum level, as it is not completely stopping the water is getting filled continuously. I don’t know if it is minor or major prob to mend it. Please help me. Ours is Modern continental style push button cistern.
