How to stop nose bleeds.
The best way to stop a nose bleed is by placing pressure by pinching the bridge of the nose just under the boney bridge. You will need to hold this for at least 5 minutes and then you can check if the bleeding has stopped, if it has not apply pressure again and hold for 5 to 10 minutes. You can also apply a cold pack to the bridge of the nose. Do not lean back as this will cause the blood to go down the throat and into the stomach.
