How to stop my toddler co-sleeping and breastfeeding on demand?
My daughter is 20 months and still breastfeeding and part-time co-sleeping. I have cut the feeds down to bed and naptime only. I think it will be too much for you to stop co-sleeping and breastfeeding at the same time, and would suggest you stop co-sleeping first as the breastfeeding will provide comfort to him in his new room. I stopped full time co-sleeping 6 months ago and my daughter took to it amazingly well. She still sleeps in my bed if her dad is working away though. I just feed her to sleep in her bed instead of ours. If your son is still feeding in the day, perhaps try telling him he can only have milk when it’s dark? Then you can cut down from there.
