How to stop bugs eating my strawberry plants?
Slater = Woodlouse – “Oniscus Asellus” They eat mostly dead matter, so are not likely to be eating your strawberries. Most likely it’s snails or slugs. They feed at night and hide by day. Trap snails in a saucer of beer. They drink it, fall in and drown in it. There are worse ways to go… Strawberries are best grown in tubs, raised off the floor, away from bugs and birds. Give them lots of water and sun.
