• Open Genius Maker software and click “Longitudinal Waves” button. It opens the Longitudinal Waves window as shown above. • On opening you will see 3 waves shown by default. The waves are named as Wave – A, Wave – B and Superposition of Waves A and B. • Just click “Zoom in” button. • You will see that the entire graphics area gets zoomed. • The particles are shown in different colours for easy identification. • You may go on clicking the “Zoom in” button many times to see the particle movement closely. • Similarly you may go on clicking “Zoom out’ button many times to see the waves in totality. • You may pause the waves at any time by clicking the “Pause” button.
