How to Start a Compost Pile

0

The most important feature of a compost pile is that it is able to receive air. One of the easiest ways to build one is to get wooden lattice fencing and use that for the back, sides, front and section parts. Your compost pile should also have 3 sections. The front gate should also be removable either as one whole piece or individual peices. And for the sections, you should have a section for newly added items where you put your fresh cuttings or discarded food. Then have a section for more composted items where the fresh items are starting to decompose. And finally, the last section is for the fully composted items that are ready to be used as compost.
