How to Sprout An Avocado Pit?

0

It’s fairly easy to sprout an avocado pit and grow your own plant. When you eat an avocado clean the pit with cool water, be sure to remove any green bits and blot the pit dry with a paper towel. Poke three toothpicks through the fattest part of the avocado so that they will suspend the avocado in a mason jar of water. Leave it sit in the water, but the base of the avocado needs to be covered by about an inch of water, any less and it won’t sprout properly.
