I think it’s also worth mentioning you actually CHANGE your Messenger Email address WITHOUT creating a new account, simply sign into your MSN Passport manager thingy and change it. Obviously all your contacts still remain and such. I was originally using an old (not working anymore) @home.com email address but have now recently changed it to a @gmail.com.
