How to shut off the SOS button on the BMW X5?
I pressed the SOS button next to the moonroof buttons by accident and now I have a msg “BMW Assist Inactive”. The radio functions don’t work because this msg is there. How can I delete or rest this msg? A: You need to take it to the dealer to have the button replaced. These were a common issue on some of the BMW’s. This has been brought up many times on the BMW msg forums on the net.
