Usually the Recycle Bin is on your desktop. But, if necessary, you can quickly hide it. To hide the Recycle Bin from your desktop: Click ‘Start’ button. Select ‘Control Panel’. Select ‘Appearance and Personalization’ and then ‘Personalization’. Click ‘Change desktop icons’. Remove the check mark for ‘Recycle Bin’ and click ‘OK’. To show the Recycle Bin on your desktop: Click ‘Start’ button. Select ‘Control Panel’. Select ‘Appearance and Personalization’ and then ‘Personalization’. Click ‘Change desktop icons’. Put the check mark for ‘Recycle Bin’ and click ‘OK’.
