How to ship items to my customers?
The key to success is simplification. I would get the heaviest weight item and have the post office give you the price quote on the longest distance. If you live in NY, get a quote for first class to Hawaii. Then figure out your fixed shipping cost for all your items. If you want to include the shipping (FREE shipping) include that price in the price of your items (item price+shipping=new per item and or quantity order price). Customers love free shipping so make it happen. If they want special delivery (rush orders, express shipping, overnight, ect), have them email you to get the price quote.
