Put the deck height at its highest setting. This will give you better access to the blades. Ride the mower over a low spot or up a ramp so that you will have even more room to work. Then lay on your back and use a box wrench to turn the bolt counter clockwise while holding the blade stationary. Now that you have the blades off, use a bench grinder or a hand grinder to restore the sharp edge. Wear gloves and eye goggles for your protection. Make sure to balance the blades. You can buy a cheap tool from a hardware store to show which side of the blade is heaviest and then remove material from the heavy side.
