SP879 has built-in printer server and can support up to four printers to be shared to your network at the same time. Firstly, you need to connect your USB printer to the SP879. After connecting with the printer, you are able to view and check the status of the printer in the USB device of web UI as photo show below. If it does not show on the screen, it means the printer is not recognized by SP879 or it has compatibility problem.
